Nuno Serafim is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of 3 Comma Capital, a CMVM-regulated alternative asset manager headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal.
With more than 25 years of experience in the investment management industry, Nuno has built a distinguished career leading investment teams, managing institutional portfolios and developing innovative investment strategies across traditional and alternative asset classes.
Before founding 3 Comma Capital in 2022, Nuno held several senior leadership positions within the Portuguese asset management industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Investment Officer and Board Member of one of Portugal's largest privately-owned asset managers, where he oversaw more than €4 billion in assets under management across 28 investment funds and led a team of 14 portfolio managers.
Earlier in his career, he was Head of Portfolio Management at ES Investment, Chief Investment Officer at Luso Partners, and Head of Iberia at IG Group, gaining extensive experience across portfolio management, capital markets, asset allocation and institutional investment management.
As Managing Partner and CIO of 3 Comma Capital, Nuno is responsible for defining the firm's overall investment strategy, overseeing portfolio construction, risk management and investment research across fixed income, multi-asset and digital asset strategies.
He has played a central role in the development of the firm's regulated investment funds, including solutions designed for international investors seeking exposure to Portugal through the Portugal Golden Visa programme.
Nuno strongly believes that digital assets will play an increasingly important role in the future global financial system. His investment philosophy combines rigorous fundamental analysis, prudent risk management and long-term capital preservation with selective exposure to structural growth opportunities.
Following the strategic investment by C2 Capital Partners in 2026, Nuno continues to lead 3 Comma Capital through its next phase of growth, helping build one of Portugal's leading independent alternative asset management platforms.
