Our History

Founded in Lisbon in 2022, it is led by Patrick Hable, co-founder of 2iQ Research and a prominent figure in the European digital economy, and Nuno Serafim, former CIO and board member of IMGA (Portugal’s second-largest asset management company), bringing over 25 years of experience in financial markets and investment management.

We firmly believe that digital assets will play a pivotal role in shaping the future global economy.

Our three open-ended funds reflect this vision: The Portugal Golden Income Fund combines stable returns from traditional assets with the growth potential of digital assets, while the Global Crypto Fund - Portugal’s first 100% digital asset daily liquidity fund - focuses exclusively on this emerging asset class. Finally, for investors see capital preservation, the 3CC Atlantic Bond Fund, is accessible to any retail investor, although specifically designed to mitigate the concerns of investors seeking the safest 5-year journey along the Golden Visa path.

Nuno Serafim
Managing Partner
Nuno is an experienced financial executive with broad experience in the Asset Management industry, being  board member of IMGA, where he served as Chief investment Officer, overseeing €3.4B of AuM before he founded 3 Comma Capital, together with Robert and Patrick Hable in 2022.
Duarte Caldas
Investments Principal
With more than 20 years of experience in financial markets, Duarte specialized in the energy area in the last decade, where he had the opportunity to work with the main European Power and Gas institutions at CIMD Group. Previously, he worked as Market Strategist at IG Markets Iberia.
David Duarte
Investment Director
David, Investment Director at 3 Comma, has extensive blockchain project experience as a consultant and developer. His 20-year career includes trading at Portuguese banks and leading the trading division at the Portuguese Debt Management office. He also lectures on finance at NovaIMS Information Management School, holding degrees in Economics and Financial Markets.
José Carlos Monteiro
Operations Director
José Carlos Monteiro is an experienced professional with a proven track record in process optimization and operational management in Insurance, Banking, and Asset Management. He’s 3 Comma Capital Operations Director.
Sílvia Antunes
Deputy Director of Operations
Sílvia, Deputy Director of Operations, has extensive professional experience in operational management, implementation and development of asset management systems, particularly related to Risk, Compliance and regulatory changes in portfolio and asset management reporting.
João Barradas
Operations Manager
João Barradas, an Investment Technician for over 29 years, has experience in databases, financial operations, investment reporting, and accounting in banking and insurance, with extensive knowledge of AMS, an asset management program. He is the operations manager at 3 Comma Capital.
Rui Almeida
Chief Financial Officer & Compliance
Rui Almeida, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Compliance at 3 Comma Capital, with extensive professional experience, over 27 years in Financial Markets, securities, and real estate (SIEMCA, CIMD Group, IMGA, Status Capital), graduated in Accounting and Business Administration.
Alexandre Cunha Elias
Business Development Director
Alexandre is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in business development, investor relations, relationship management, and sales. He has held senior positions at Kreab, Liberdade Capital, and OFI Asset Management, and was the founder of ACE Consulting, a real estate investment advisory firm.
Rute Henriques
Private Equity Specialist
Rute Henriques is part of the Private Equity Division at 3 Comma Capital, bringing solid experience in corporate finance, financial control, and reporting, developed through her work at PwC Portugal and Capgemini. Her background in accounting, financial analysis, and tax strategy enables her to contribute with rigor to investment evaluation and portfolio monitoring.
Filipe Serafim
Business Development
With over a decade of experience in business development, Filipe brings a strong international perspective shaped by his global education and early exposure to multicultural environments. He specializes in growth strategies and internationalization, and has successfully led diverse sales teams across multiple industries, including Real Estate, Tech for Hospitality, and Pharma.
Guilherme Esteves
Analyst
Guilherme has a bachelor's degree in Business Management from ISCTE and is finalising his master's in Corporate Finance at the same institution. Guilherme monitors the portfolio companies and develops the valuation models for each one.
Diana Pereira
Junior Analyst
Diana, Junior Analyst at 3 Comma, holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Nova SBE. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate program in Web 3, Blockchain, and Cryptoassets, enhancing her expertise in emerging technologies and aligning with 3 Comma Capital’s focus on the future of finance.
Miguel Cortês
Junior Portfolio Manager
Miguel has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Católica and is polishing his quantitative and modeling skills at ISEG. Miguel is helping to develop the analysis framework for our liquid funds and managing the Portuguese equity sleeve for PGI.
