Celfocus, a company within the Novabase Group, is strengthening its presence in the financial sector alongside 3 Comma Capital (3CC) through the development of an innovative technology platform for the management of investment funds with exposure to cryptoassets.

The partnership led to the launch of the 3CC Global Crypto Fund, the first cryptocurrency fund registered with the CMVM and domiciled in Portugal.

Launched in April 2024, just three months after the implementation of the Celfocus AMS (Asset Management System), the fund marks the beginning of a new chapter for 3CC. Since then, the firm has launched a second fund focused on Portuguese corporate debt and is preparing to introduce two additional funds—one focused on bonds and another on venture capital.

At the heart of this initiative is the Celfocus AMS platform, a web-based digital SaaS solution that automates processes such as asset valuation, accounting, risk management, compliance, and reporting. Through its API, performance data is updated in real time on 3CC’s website, enabling continuous fund monitoring.

The digital custody component is ensured by Gemini Digital, licensed to operate in Europe, and Bison Bank, which manages fiat currency custody. Digital assets are held in cold storage with fast access, including staked assets—ensuring both security and operational efficiency.

According to Nuno Serafim, Managing Partner at 3CC, “Celfocus AMS meets all the requirements for managing liquid assets, particularly in this new investment universe of digital assets. The Celfocus team worked closely with 3 Comma Capital and in coordination with the CMVM to adapt and configure these new financial instruments, enabling the launch of the 3CC Global Crypto Fund in record time—a project we are deeply proud of for its truly innovative and distinctive nature.”
